The Marketing Association for Rehabilitation Centers is a 501(c)(3) organization formed in 1978 that supports non-profit Community Rehabilitation Programs (CRPs) in a 21-county region of western North Carolina. MARC's mission is to support vocational rehabilitation and developmental training in this region for adults with physical or mental disabilities or both. The purpose of MARC is to raise the quality of life and contribution to society of people with disabilities through meaningful work and effective rehabilitation, habilitation, and enrichment programs.
Working closely with MARC staff members, Stratos created a public website which provides a comprehensive overview of the MARC mission and successes to public site visitors, while also providing a secure login area through which the current 14 MARC members throughout Western North Carolina can access a document repository and additional resources. The website is optimized for Section 508 compliance for visitors with disabilities.
