Biography of Artist:

Nathan Ebanks started his career building mechanical projects from blueprint to completed functional systems to include solar heat, wind-powered generators and numerous creative technical prototypes. In 1990, he became deeply interested in computer graphics for technical visualization, marketing and creative art. With a life-long passion for space science, astronomy and music, the natural progression from his mechanical/technical background was to combine all of these into an art form; 3D/CG visualization allowed this opportunity.

In 1995 he began creating 3D still renders. As computing power increased in the late 1990’s and more robust software became available, he began to create animation sequences with accompanying sound tracks. His latest works include scientific and technical visualizations, and multimedia presentations for marketing/trade shows.

Nathan has lived in the Asheville area for 26 years. He has a studio in Fairview, NC (Stratos Digital, Inc.) where he provides web site development services, 3 D visualization services, video editing, multimedia presentations and commercial/digital art.
